Facings are a special type of veneers. It is an exclusively additive procedure. It is used to replace enamel/hard tissue loss due to age or oral environment. This method only works when the teeth were well aligned in the first place.
Most often the procedure is a mixture of the additive and subtractive method following a wax up.
