The prosthetic tooth structure replacement is rated most highly in restorative dentistry. The restorations that cannot be told apart form natural teeth anymore are made by the dental technician and replace destroyed tooth structure. Provided these restorations are well cared for and the right materials are chosen, they have a good, predictable long-term prognosis. Minimally invasive restaurations, especially created by all ceramic “puzzle pieces†are becoming increasingly attractive.
